Key & command reference

Search controls by key, command, and editing context.

Space is the leader. In Normal mode, press Space and then the next key. Terminal input uses immediate Ctrl equivalents. LSP maps belong to attached editing buffers; picker actions stay inside file selection.

Context rules

  • In terminal input, Ctrl-\ hides the panel and returns to editing so you can enter a colon command.
  • Ctrl-Tab and Ctrl-number depend on distinct modified key sequences from the terminal. See terminal compatibility.
  • With no explicit path, :Workspace, :OpenFile, and :Standalone open selection.
  • Formatting, declarations, and other LSP actions depend on server capabilities.
  • Tab/Shift-Tab prioritize a visible completion menu. With it closed, snippet navigation takes priority over requesting completion.
